Just because it’s Saturday.
I found this after seeing the article on Kosovo at Captains Quarters, with good ol’ Ed Morrissey.
Here’s some smut. It’s Busty Zuzana – who gets wet and soapy. Not that you care.

Who thinks of these? And then draws and animates them out?

Oh damn that is funny!
Sitting there with headphones on and giggling my ass off, hoping to see the whole thing before my kids come in and want to watch the cartoon (carrotoon?).
That’s one kick-ass rabbit.

[...] Lastly, for this post I wanted to plop down a link thrown out there by Steamboat McGoo over at Aardvarks and Asshats. You need to go to his site and watch that video with the oh-so-peace-lovin’ wabbits – it is SO peaceful at the end. And those wabbits worked hard for it. Go here. [...]

Ya know – what really tickles me is the way the shotgunner leaps and cavorts around after he’s done!
I’m sorry, but the animation technique right then really pleases the crap out of me.

Anyone want to take a swing at the message/meaning/allegory intended in this video?
C’mon – it’ll only sting for a minute.

I’ll take a shot McGoo.
Rabbits are inherently violent critters, but the gun nut rabbits are the worst of them all and they take great joy in the mass slaughter of their fellow critters and so they should be shot in the face with an RPG.
How’s that?

I think it’s an Id/Ego thing with some of the Jungian Collective Unconscious crap mixed in. But I’m usually wrong.
Either that or a Rambo interpretation via animation.

That was great! I think the animator just had the time of his life doing this…and that’s all it means.
I had hoped to do some animations this year, but damn that stuff is time consuming. Even with Flash and all the modern dinguses. (It took me, like, all thanksgiving weekend to do Damien’s Jaunty Balls, and it ended up about half as long and a third as cool as I originally intended).
That said, it’s wonderful to live in a time where one person CAN do animation alone. Traditional cell animation takes hundreds of people and is about as much fun as being on the School Committee.

Yep – I liked the animation, too. Like I said – I especially liked the shotgunner’s victory leaps into the air because the “gravity” effect looks right.
The animator (or the software) got the physics right.
And – it simply must be said – youngsters today have no clue as to how hard all of this used to be.

I guess no one noticed (or cared) that I mentioned and linked to the article about Kosovo?
Ya see – I read the Kosovo article that mentions that they were declaring their independence. They did – this weekend. That’s very interesting in itself.
But also mentioned amongst those links is the fact that the EU chose for it’s “National Anthem” Beethoven’s Ode To Joy segment of his 9th Symphony.
So I went searching for that segment to give it a listen (haven’t listened to the 9th in years!) – and to listen to a bit of Bach, too.
That’s how I found the video I posted.
Video. EU. Independence. Anthem. Politics.
Never mind.
